1. Weather and Northern Lights Visibility
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Not seeing northern lights is not a ground for a refund.
Tours operate regardless of weather conditions unless it is dangerous to drive.
2. Tour Type
Unless explicitly stated, tours are not chasing tours.
Guides choose the best available location based on cloud forecasts and operational safety. We never “chase” for northern lights as they are the same everywhere, we are chasing clear skies. And if guide choose to stay on one spot for the whole evening is because they found clear skies and every other place is covered with clouds.
3. Vehicle Type
Vehicle size and type depend on:
• group size
• availability
• weather conditions
• operational requirements
If we don’t have enough customers for a big bus or if the weather and road conditions are difficult we can switch to minibus. Some vehicles may not have a toilet.
Once boarding the vehicle, guests accept the conditions of the tour.
4. Photos
Photos are offered when weather, visibility, and technical conditions allow. Photos are uploaded within 48 hours after the tour took place.
Not receiving photos is not grounds for compensation.
You are always welcome to ask for help with your own camera or phone.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests must:
• dress appropriately
• follow guide instructions
• understand cold-weather risks
• understand waiting is a normal part of Northern Lights tours
6. Refund policy
All tours are weather-dependent, and Northern Lights visibility is not guaranteed.
Once a tour has departed, no refunds are offered for:
• weather conditions
• waiting time
• visibility
• vehicle size/type
• toilet availability
• temperature or comfort
• personal expectations not included in the tour description
• photos not received due to weather or technical limitations
Vehicle types vary depending on group size, availability, and operational needs.
Joining the tour implies acceptance of the assigned vehicle.
If you disagree with the assigned vehicle, you may cancel before departure only.
7. Behavior
Threats, abuse, or defamatory statements towards staff or the company may result in refusal of service and legal action.
