You travel on a comfortable panoramic bus with large windows and a restroom on board, with space for up to 52 guests — a relaxed choice for families, couples and anyone who wants to see the fjords in comfort.
The route crosses the island of Kvaløya, past Kaldfjord and Ersfjord, over the mountain pass at Kattfjordeidet and out to the coast. The highlight is Sommarøy, often called the “Arctic Caribbean” for its white-sand beaches and turquoise water.
Along the way we stop at carefully chosen viewpoints for photos, and our local guide shares stories about Arctic life, culture and nature. Keep an eye out for sea eagles, reindeer and other wildlife.
